Production

GTM has a wide range of capabilities from basic R&D to full production of parts.

The personnel of GTM are well positioned to perform basic material as well as applied R&D. The available equipment (mentioned below) allows GTM to perform the majority of R&D activities in-house. Additional (special) R&D equipment is available at Delft University for which GTM has an agreement with TU Delft.

For instance, the founder of GTM has a large track record of 30 year on the development of hybrid materials and its applications. He is (co-)inventor of several hybrid products. He has managed these activities at different companies, like AKZO Nobel, SLC (JV of AKZO-Nobel and Alcoa), Structural Laminates Industries, Fokker Aircraft, FMLC and currently GTM. Furthermore, he arranged for the Dutch governmental funding to support Airbus in applying GLARE on the Airbus A380 and managed also the supportive R&D and qualification covering materials qualification, manufacturing and quality assurance up to airline maintenance and support. Recently he managed, amongst others the hybrid wing material program, which resulted in the development of CentrAl.
